Nokia's Lumia 920 smartphone will be receiving an update for its Windows Phone 8 operating system, with the company's US arm looking to release by the end of the month.
As Nokia's flagship Windows Phone 8 device, the Lumia 920 is an impressively powerful smartphone with an excellent high-resolution display. The handset has been selling well throughout the world with many in Europe choosing it over Apple's rival iPhone 5 thanks to better support for non-US 4G LTE networks.
The smartphone isn't without its flaws, however: bugs in Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system, causing issues with synchronizing emails and random reboots, are causing more than a few headaches, and while the HTC 8X has already received an over-the-air update to resolve the problems, Nokia's devices have not.
That will change, Nokia has promised. Responding to customer queries via Twitter, the company officially confirmed that Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 update, fixing the email and rebooting bugs, will be made available on the Lumia 920 as soon as possible. "Microsoft will be releasing a SW [software] update this month," the company claimed. "We'll announce from here when available."
HENCE , INDIA WILL RECEIVE PHONES With an Updated Version, If not then update will soon reach your phone immediately after you buy it.
